I didn't know I had all these bits and pieces to put together for my circular row counter.
I'm so proud of myself. Woohoo!!!

First tatt and a short update...

Hahahahaha.
Just had this done today.
Totally loving it!
CNY Holiday's been lazier than previous years.
There was no effort to go over to Penang on the 2nd day or go visit Sg. Lembu.
Fingers are a little sore from 1.5 hours of Hanon exercises after dinner but then I've been slacking for months.
Between steamboats, watching tv, snacking and sleeping, I managed to get some reading done.
So it hasn't been a total waste, except in the angpows department that is.
Back to work tomorrow.

Jazz is so flavorful.
Like red wine.
Leaves you warm, gooey and fuzzy.
Syncopation.
Improvisation.
Enjoyed thoroughly with eyes closed.

This has been building up in me for about a month now.
As much as I love working at Jabs, I can't help but feel tensed up when the creativity juice kicks in and there's no way I can output in the office. Jabs have much more better IT security, so I have been debating in my head for quite a long while if I wanted to install this there. Writing lame short stories isn't the same as having a place to design and color.
Today I couldn't stand the debate anymore and just install it in my good old desktop instead.
It's pretty sad that the things I love doing have to all be time-managed into weekends. How I wish I can just enjoy Clara or doing stuff like this after work during the week.
***
I'm starting to wonder if there's a point keeping this blog if it just damages the relationships I have in real life due to audience assumptions vs my POV where virtually anything I say on the Internet can be untrue. Who's voice is it suppose to be speaking here? Isn't this place suppose to be mine to do whatever I want?
"I am a cold-hearted, materialistic, money-minded bitch."
There I've said it. Maybe this is the end of everything.

Chatting with Jen today, I realized I haven't done this for a very long time.
Back to basics.
If only life can go back to then,
I would sail away,
On the passage of time.
Against the current leading me forward,
Back to how once was.
But life is not a river,
Moving backward not an option.
So let's just move on,
To another phase in life.
I'm handing in my letter today.
I'm afraid that reality is now striking down hard.

Quote of the day
@
2:31 PM
I found this quote while blog hopping some time back.
Had the time today to practice Freehand. Taking a rest from creating my blog title, I came up with these. One progress after another.
Haha, thanks San for helping fix and accident 'O'. I'm most satisfied with the last one because I made the word 'God' out from scratch, enlarge it and manage to line it up back.
I am so darn indecisive in choosing the combinations of background colors to use!!!!
Why are there so many colors in this world.......Brilliant, vibrant, alive, dull, dark.........
