Nothing more than nails.

I have just participated in a nail polish shopping spree this week.
Like, two colors on Wednesday and ordered two more online today.
And I'm still kind of looking for mood changing nail polish.
I'm so doomed. >.<""
Why did nail polish had to reinvent itself into matte, mood changing and shatter paints?

Strawberry scented nail polish remover is like the best thing they came up with to overide the alcohol smell that comes in liquid nail polish removers.
But heck, I haven't tried any orange jelly remover yet. It might even be better.

I've also been going to the big malls four days in a row.
Like Nando's and Chicago Ribs on Monday and Tuesday.
Sakae and Canton-I on Wednesday and Thursday.
That's how I end up with nail colors in my head all the time.
Gee, I need a break!

Funny thing with the nail polish craze right now is, I feel like I'm reliving all those teenage years when nail polish was a ban in school.
My nails looks so fugly considering I have to keep it short and paint unevenly with ET at every stroke.
I haven't even remove the test colors I did on the nails of my left hand the other day and it's really a mess.
But, it's like who cares and it's just awesome to have the liberty to do what I want with my nails!

Old Quote

Mark the beautiful days,
forget the bad days

I still think this statement is beautiful after such a long time.
But 'bad days' no longer exist.
Not in that particular way the quote came into being for anyway.

We had to flip a coin to decide who plays Judy or Syndy this weekend.
It was just funny to come to that resolution because we both couldn't decide which to play.

FEVER is now just two weekends away. Woo hoo!

Today...

the ability to smile and laugh despite my crazy anxiety based antics today.

getting through my first ever meeting at work with external people.

for the people that have made a difference in different seasons of my walk of faith.

the wisdom to move on and no longer linger in the past.

the faith that carries me through day by day.

And that would be #101 til #105.
Had dinner with Jen and enjoyed myself enormously with 'updates'.
Got walking around and bought a pair of starfish earrings.
Am now just ready to retire.

Thankful of the day.

After last night, I'm renewed.
Found myself thankful yet knowing I haven't been really looking hard enough through thankful eyes.
I got around to counting my thankfuls and finally got the numbers on the right track.....
So, I'm finally hitting the 100th!!!

Thankfuls
96. 3 against 1 with US boss went well today.
So relieved.
Despite not knowing if it makes a difference, at least we have spoken up.

97. For boldness to speak.

98. The ability to absorb all the studying I've done today for a meeting tomorrow.
I swear it was like reading coded maths and it was hard but I got the hang of it in the end.
Something I haven't done for ages.

99. Double Mushroom Swiss.

100. For letting me just sit in the deafening silence after dinner.
Just to sit and not think of a single thing for that couple of minutes.
It's so rare to have that these days.

My day has been good.

Now and Then

I reread my really old entries.
And it made me smile again.
Somehow, the old me encouraged the now me.

I read through this, and it was just speaking directly to what I'm facing through now.

I laughed at this, because I just bought a new tyre and had all the rest of them swapped around today...all by myself.
And I just remembered how amused I was at the shop, because the tyre man keep asking if I was still studying as I was sooo completely clueless about tyres.

And I had so many encouraging quotes.
Like this, rereading it made me smile as music always does..and also the realization that 'hey! I can keep time now!!' Haha!

Isn't it awesome how much has changed between now and then?
