Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014!

I managed to complete half the stuff on my list of 'Things I want to do in 2013' that I wrote back in January.

Some things that were up for debate was like:

Crochet - which I didn't work on but instead I knitted a pair of baby mittens and that had to count for something, right?

Drum lesson - which I didn't go calling about asking for but those Fridays I took off just to drum really have made a difference.

Among other things 2014 brings me to be;

Retiring candy prankster for a start

and
Retiring keyboardist (that is I hope, but whatever His will is)

And here I literally burned some bridges.
Stuff I do not want to cling to anymore.

One of the things I am looking forward to in my new year is a Totoro handphone case.
Like, freaking finally!!!
After so many months of looking (and cursing a certain Chinese website for not delivering to Malaysia),
I've found someone who could make one for me. Right here in Penang!

Dear Lord,
Thank you for having been always there even when I am not looking Your way.
Thank you for the season that have been and for the season to come.
Help me to not look back anymore and guide me to see You more this coming year.
That I would anticipate with a ready heart all the good things that You have planned out for me.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Lock screen

One final day to be of courage left.
I'm tired of this dread.
Boozing myself numb haven't really helped.

I just want You, my Lord...
With my arms open wide...

Yet He goes;
I am with you...

And the love poured into my eyebrows will sustain me.

Bedtime

Dear Lord,

Thank You for turning my disappointments into opportunities for growth and learning.
Guide me in trusting You through every situation, even if I don’t understand why it’s happening.
May Your name continually be blessed wherever I go.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lunchtime

A little comforting sea breeze in the midst of everything.
