On call

For the past couple hours, I could forget I'm on call this weekend.

Gear just kicked in now.
After nearly five months of not doing it, there's a certain thrill and challenge to this weekend.

And of course the bittersweet reality that this would soon not be my responsibility anymore.

Life is as easy as putting a sandwich together.

A-Z is over just as I finally have a long weekend to rest.
It's been an up and down journey all through April.
Struggling to write as life brings its many balls to juggle at the same time.
There were many words I had to change at the last minute, and it was so not as I planned!
Yet, I'm thankful I found the words to fit in to the alphabets to how I felt at the time of writing. And words, oh words that strung together to form gibberish sentences that at least made sense to me.

I have a theme ready for next year come what may. Hopefully it will be a better April next year!
