A little irking

I discovered that half of the Disney Princesses kissed before they got married.

Talk about influence on the young.
Call me a dreamer but I believe that belong on the altar.
Haha, no wonder I'm stuck where I am.

Dream...dream dream dream.....

Moving Day 1

IT has begun.

The piano went out the door with a horrible bang.
I tried my best not to react too dramatically, like a snob....
but it was a real stab to my heart.
Although it's only worth RM350 to the people who collects old pianos and scrap them, a piano is still a piano intact.
Thank God I have no idea how they moved the piano down the lorry and into the new house.
Dad's motto was 'I'm not going to look' and that was exactly what he did.

One more weekend and hopefully we are done for good.

Mark 10:29-30 (New King James Version)

29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.

A poem

My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation
I hear the sweet though far off hymn
That hails a new creation:
Through all the tumult and the strife
I hear the music ringing;
It finds an echo in my soul—
How can I keep from singing?

What though my joys and comforts die?
The Lord my Savior liveth;
What though the darkness gather round!
Songs in the night He giveth:
No storm can shake my inmost calm
While to that refuge clinging;
Since Christ is Lord of Heav’n and earth,
How can I keep from singing?

I lift mine eyes; the cloud grows thin;
I see the blue above it;
And day by day this pathway smoothes
Since first I learned to love it:
The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart,
A fountain ever springing:
All things are mine since I am His—
How can I keep from singing?

I can't remember where I found this. I know I didn't write it. Hahahaha!!
But it brought a warmth to my heart to read it again.
To remember that I am being loved.
And the assurance of my future in Him.
Certainly puts things into a positive perspective.
How can I keep from playing?

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate

I can't keep a secret.
Not one like this.
On Thursday,

I got a foot long bar of Lindt chocolate!!!
Thanks, Ling Yin!
Haha!
Tactful avoidance of the question whether you were back or not was hard!
I think by now you are back in Singapore again, so I can say it. =P
All the best this final paper!!!

Jeremiah 29:11-13
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a futu
re. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

On fluids all day was hard.
On Friday night,
There was a mini gathering of old schoolmates, to sorta celebrate the birthdays of 2 girls in May.

there was chocolate cake, sweeter than any I've tasted before.
And I got a huge size! (I couldn't finish...)
Hehehehehe!!!

Saturday, after an early carload to the new house, there was breakfast with Jen.
Made up for that and the chocolate cake the rest of the day.
In the afternoon went to find Ee Shiuan and my loved ones. Waited for like half an hour for them to have their bath. I was mortified to find them with lice crawling out of them due to some medicine put after their bath. Not the human, I mean. The dogs. So have to cut short my love therapy. Just the touch of fur and wet nose can do wonders though.
Thank God, she, the human, didn't buy me donuts! Because....

Last night,

my cousin back from her short trip to KL, got me donuts!!!
Hehehehehehehe!
Thanks, Bee!!!
Alien (the triple play of chocolate donut from Big Apple),
is awesome!!!!!

Kakakakaka, I had a good long weekend with all that chocolate despite being very tired almost everyday from all the carrying stuff downstairs of old to upstairs of new.

Thought of the day,

"How the heck do you accept a compliment,
when the compliment actually belongs fully to God?"

I hate it when that happens.

Gyusara's a blast

Hahaha, what a title.
Yeah I really loveeeee the Gyusara at Japin.
I order the same thing nearly every time I go there.
Been there maybe 5-7 times since it opened and come out of there always very full.
Finally got some photos of the food there this last time.
This is the set menu. It's inclusive of rice, miso soup, dessert and a drink.
By the time the dessert of the day arrive, I am usually too full to take more than a mouthful.
Besides, I don't really eat 'tong sui'. If I can force my eating mate to have it, I would. Kakakakaka!
My lovely lovely set arrived!

Salivate on this! Beef with onions = Gyusara!!
On the side is smashed potatoes and a salad.
Too bad the size of the smashed potatoes have shrunk over time,
because it's different from anywhere else I've eaten.
Smash into a mash. Cool, right?
Oh man, just looking at the photos remind me of it's Mmmm-ness!!
I just can't help but eat and make weird sounds for every biteful of the beef I took.
The juicy beef bursting with flavor in your mouth..........oh man!
Kakakaka!

This is the Syogayaki (Ginger Sauce BBQ Set).
It also comes with the rice, miso soup, dessert and a drink.
I tasted a piece of the pork and it's not really ginger overwhelming but is on the salty side.
But I still love the beef more!
