Burnout

None suffered as greatly as Job in the Old Testament.

Job Job Job......

Thank God.
Freewill is comforting sometimes.

I wish they'd locked me up in a cell now.
I don't want to end up like her.

Vanity of vanities

I found this HUGE pair of sunglasses in my cousin's car and couldn't help myself.
Makes you grin or shake your head too, right?

I have this policy that I won't put up any photos with me in them here, but here I am breaking it.
THAT went on all the way to Qmall and all the way back. But I don't want to put the rest up. And there's only one with the lips that way. I blame it on the chamomile tea I had during lunchtime.

Coming back from lunch at PHOP (which I will blog about some other time), I saw that Odie has been.......raped. Badly. No notes left or sign of the culprit.

Yet I can still laugh about lunchtime and this above.
And somehow remembering this in the process.

Ecclesiastes 1 (King James Version)

1The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.

2Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

3What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

4One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

5The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.

6The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

7All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

8All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

9The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

11There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

12I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.

13And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

14I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

15That which is crooked cannot be made straight; and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.

16I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.

17And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.

18For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Odie will be fine and so will I. :D
I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord.

Junk food and the health inspector

From tomorrow onwards I have to forgo my junk food and instant noodles.

Why?

Because the health inspector is on his way home!!!!!!!
Eek! Bleah!

Which was why last night I more or less.......eliminate all proof of junk food. How?
Means go into my stomach la. Technically by now it has gone down the toilet.
The only proof is that I have a worst sore throat now.
Blame it on chillies. Teehehe!!!!

Houses are now spic and span waiting for inspection!
Dog been groomed!!
Healthy food have been bought to replace the empty spaces where junk food was!!!

The only trouble is..........I can't hide my stock of instant noodles.
There's at least 20 packets.
Oh boy, I hope no one mentions my food cabinet. Or opens it.

I swear if he repeats that line 'Your ideal weight is XXkg...... you should lose at least XXkg....etc etc etc'............he is so gonna get it this time.

Thank God it's only for a week.
I CAN DO IT!!!!

That aside, it's been a while. I can't wait to squeeze some kids!!!!!!! I wish San can like, follow me around and be my photographer....she sure can take good shots of how I want my face among the kids to be.

In the beginning....

There was darkness.
And then God said, 'Let there be light'
And there was light.

Spoken from a five year old at night.

'Hold my hand'
'Why?'
'I'm scared'

A conversation with another five year old at night.

It's beyond my understanding.
What is it about night and the little ones?
But it's good enough for me.

I have not been acting like an idiot for a very long time.....(donuts not counted! At least that was not in public.....)
Night Safari did me in. Squealing at almost every animal. Trying to wake up zebras sleeping on their legs and scaring deers to move. Sadly, they must be used to all that idiotic methods of gaining their attention. They just stared or totally ignored me. And the zebras slept on.
All around, most of all, it was awesome to see these creations of God. The rhinoceros and hippopotamus with such small ears and huge bodies. A nursing baby elephant. A lone white swan that should be in bed by then (I bet it was a teenage swan, rebelling). The prowling black panther that looks ready to eat you. Silly otters dancing in the water.
The zoo is the place to go to if you wanna be amazed and be filled again with child wonder.
Unless the sights of caged animals isn't your cup of tea.

Hello......

I'm still alive.

Some thoughts floating about (more like one themed thoughts).

Deciding on lightings for a whole house is difficult. So is a door handle.
And we are only halfway through.
I hope no one have to make such grown-up decisions as I did, skipping a few years, marriage and money-making part that helps build maturity thus make better decisions.
Sims or Sims 2 was fun, but real life is darn scary. Since there's no 'undo' button.
And money isn't just typing 'kaching!' or 'rosebud'. I miss my Sims.
The current colors in my blog represent the colors of my room.
I can't wait to see it all come together! *fingers crossed, it will be awesome!*

I hope I won't regret the choices I make, waking up to them for the rest of my life. *sigh*

That's all for now.
I actually planned a diarrhea of thoughts, recaps and stuff......but that would kinda defeat the purpose of having had a blog fast, won't it? :P
